Welcome to the BOM homepage. What is BOM? BOM is a wargaming club based in Hamilton, Massachusetts. BOM stands for Battle-Gaming Of Massachusetts. Here we play a variety of tabletop wargames, mostly Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy and Brikwars.

Toys n' Things Danvers offers more benefits for BOM members

After getting in contact with a couple of other wargaming groups and working a couple of things out Toys N Things now has new benefits it can offer to BOM members. These benefits include:

1) Use of paints and assembly tools: For a $2 fee per visit BOM members can use the store's paints and tools to construct and paint their armies.
2) Use of terrain and special tables: Toys n Things is getting a specially designed table that players can use for their battles. This table will be added to the store's open gaming area.
3) Toys N Things is coordinating with various groups to set up battles between clubs both for prizes (there would be a fee) and bragging rights (free tournaments)
4) Toys N Things is testing the idea of doing a "miniature exchange" where players can sell items they no longer need or want for store credit. The idea is to create an exhange where everything from pieces to fully assembled and painted miniatures can be traded for new things. Pieces do need to be in sellable condition and not damaged or broken.

Warhammer 40,000: The Actarian Campaign

Starting in November armies will clash over the ruins of the ancient planet of Actar.  Above the roar of engines, the clash of close combat and the chatter of weapons fire sounds the call to battle.  The Actarias Campaign is a map-based Warhammer 40,000 campaign in which players with move about the map, capture territory and build up their forces for combat.  Sign up is still open for the Actarian Campaign and can be found in the Actarian Campaign section of the BOM Forums here.
